  Rented a full size vehicle 2 months in advance. I was told a small car was my only choice, but they "managed" to put me in a very small crossover. Totally unsuitable for my needs, and I did not like the car or enjoy the experience.

  This past weekend, I was done wrong by the Philly airport staff when they didn't have the minivan that I rented. They stuffed me and the kids (5 of us) in a mustang convertible. On Saturday, I drove the ABE and asked the fellow at the counter to help me out. His response, all my cars are for my rentals, it was Philly who gave you the wrong car take it up with them. I came back on Sunday when I noticed 3 rows full of cars, I talked to the lady at the counter and begged her for help. Her response, I will not exchange the car unless there is a mechanical failure and the car is undrivable. I called the Alamo customer service number and they told me that she was wrong to say that and that she should have exchanged the car. Thanks ABE Alamo for NOT CARING, when I needed help. Done with you guys. Next time I visit family in Allentown, even if I fly through ABE, YOU WILL NOT BE MY CHOICE. You had cars available and I know the airport. I know you didn't have rentals to match your inventory because your CSR person told me so. Still, you refused to help me out. May you someday have the same experience so you understand how it feels! Chris M. I have added a photo of the rental vehicle. You should be able to look up everything you need. On Saturday we waited 45 minutes for your CSR group to answer the phone. On Sunday we waited over 45 minutes for your CSR group to answer the phone. If you are so committed to customer service, why have we still not received a phone call from anyone from Alamo/Enterprise Holdings to help us out when you gave us the wrong rental and no one wanted to help us. The last CSR that we spoke to claimed that she sent an email to both the PHL and ABE managers to review the issues. Guess no one has reviewed them yet!

  Does anybody work here? Called 52 (!) times in the past 36 hours and only one of them had been answered but they “couldn’t hear me” and hung up. No way to leave voicemail either. Just trying to follow up on a reservation.

  This is the first negative experience I had with Alamo. At this location, you do not walk out to the lot and choose your vehicle, you are assigned one. The first van I was given had damage to the front bumper. I saw many other vans in the lot and went in to ask for a white one I saw. They said it was not available, but another one was. I took those keys and went out to the lot. I noticed this van had minor damage too. At this point I needed to get on the road and didn't have time to run in a 3rd time. I took pictures of the damage and emailed them to Alamo so they could be documented. The car's exterior and interior were not the cleanest. We ended up stopping on our drive to purchase window cleaner to clean the windows. There was also a spill of some sort down the inside of the rear window and hatch that we had to clean up.
