    I recently had a highly disappointing experience at AutoZone Sherwood. I ordered a full exhaust system, but the staff returned and canceled my order without explanation. When I addressed the issue, they promised an upgraded replacement, but instead provided a muffler far below the specifications I requested. Upon requesting a swap, they refused, claiming it wasn’t under warranty. The lack of accountability and poor customer service was frustrating. I strongly recommend taking special orders to O’Reilly Auto Parts instead and limiting AutoZone visits to basic purchases like washer fluid.

    I came here today after my car died and asked to get the codes checked. The man helping me seemed very reluctant to do so but did, and when we came inside to look at them, all he did was turn the screen to me and say “it’s the EMC.” I asked what that meant and he seemed really annoyed that I asked and said “it’s a $5,000 part that’s only available at the dealership.” He didn’t seem to want to help me anymore when I tried to ask more questions so I just asked him to print me the error so I could leave. I ended up taking my car to the dealership to find out that the part was $279, AND that guy had cleared the codes so they couldn’t pull them when I had them run diagnostics. It was so rude and distressing for that employee to quote $5,000 on something he clearly didn’t know what he was talking about and to make it even more difficult to get the actual help I needed.
