  Ethan and Jordan were amazing there and did everything they could to help me out with getting my new Mazda Mazda 3 from them it was one of the best experiences I have had at a dealership. I highly recommend to go to this dealership and deal with both Ethan and Jordan as the experience I had I will definitely be back for another vehicle when I am ready to get another family car. Thank you both Ethan and Jordan so much for the amazing experience and going above and beyond to help me and do what you can for me to go home with a new car.

  I bought a 2018 Dodge Journey. It was sold to me with four different tire sizes and brands, which is unsafe and should never have passed inspection. But I was told this is normal practice and “completely safe”. He let me know that vehicles sold with 4 different tire brands and sizes “run just fine and it would never cause vehicle issues, ever. It’s perfectly fine to sell a car like that.” With that said I would never purchase a car from here.. The engine blew 2 months after purchase. Again something else the inspection department should’ve noticed... A licensed mechanic diagnosed it with a failed cylinder and piston slap, recommending full engine replacement. When I called the dealership for help, the salesman was extremely rude. He tried to hang up, then said “awh man” when he realized I was still on the line and he didn’t hang up on me. He kept asking me what school I went to and said “because you’re asking questions, so am I.” Ignoring the questions I had about the safety of my vehicle.. He told me to “find a new mechanic,” and claimed that four different tires don’t have to match and “wouldn’t cause engine issues.” He also said “you heard your options already,” which was just being told to buy another car not addressing the safety of the vehicle. I was told they “legally can’t take the vehicle back,” even though it was sold to me in an unsafe condition. The whole experience felt disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I have photos from the day of sale and a mechanic’s report. I’ll be filing a complaint with the Oregon Department of Justice because this seems like a safety and misrepresentation issue.

  I rarely leave reviews, but my recent experience at Salem Pre-Owned with Javonte Thomas as my salesman absolutely deserves one. From the start, Javonte treated me with professionalism, respect, and a genuine interest in helping me get into my dream car — a Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 392. If you know cars, you know this isn’t just any vehicle. It’s a beast — and finding the right one at the right price takes patience and the right person in your corner. Javonte was that guy. I came in with a clear monthly budget in mind — I told him I needed to be at or around $600/month, and I didn’t want to put anything down. Not only did Javonte secure me a zero-down deal, but he also took the time to walk me through the full CARFAX so I knew exactly what I was getting. Transparency like that is rare. During the inspection, I noticed a few minor issues with the vehicle. Instead of brushing it off, Javonte was upfront and honest. He told me that the team would either take care of the issues before purchase or knock a couple hundred off the price. That level of flexibility and customer-first thinking is exactly what you want when making a major purchase like this. We were incredibly close to closing the deal — I could feel the keys in my hand — but things hit a snag regarding the co-signing situation on my current vehicle. It was a bit of a roadblock that we couldn’t get past that day, but it had nothing to do with Javonte or his effort. He remained calm, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process, even when things got complicated. Bottom line: Javonte Thomas is a top-tier car salesman. He’s honest, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. He doesn’t pressure you — he works with you. If you’re in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, especially something performance-oriented or unique, do yourself a favor and head straight to Salem Pre-Owned and ask for Javonte. He will go above and beyond to make it happen.
