Their sales department is awesome, they tried accommodating me when it came to refinancing my current loan (wasn’t able to due to stuff on my end). They still tried to guide me in the proper steps on how to eventually be able to do so. Their service department sucks though, tried using my assurance warranty that was purchased at a different Mazda and was told the warranty wouldn’t cover tires in general. Called the location where I originally purchased my vehicle and confirmed assurance should cover the flat at any Mazda location, called again only for them to try to avoid the flat tire warranty and still attempt to sell me two more tires. Was told to go to go somewhere else, tried calling a few other places while eventually having Firestone be the ones to actually do some background research and accept the warranty work. What’s funny if they would have helped out and actually look into it a little more I would have replaced my other two tires and get a complete break job done on my vehicle at this location, but due to their poor customer service in the services department will definitely be going somewhere else.

This Mazda dealer is truly next level when it comes to customer care and service. I’ve owned a few cars and visited many dealerships and auto shops, and from my perspective, there’s really not much competition when it comes to matching Mazda’s prices and quality of care. Shout out to Michelle for always exceeding expectations with her upbeat, genuine personality. She makes going to the dealership for service a great experience. The fact that she remembers faces and names means a lot. Honestly, all of the service team members are amazing. Not to mention, the waiting lobby is always clean and stocked with snacks and water, and the free WiFi actually works great. It’s always a pleasure getting my car serviced at Mazda. Thank you!

I am really disappointed with our experience at this dealership. My husband and I drove from The Dalles to find our daughter her first car. The car we originally went to get we decided wasn't very good and we were going to head home but my husband reached out to this lot and they had one we thought was perfect. They ran my credit so many times with so many banks because it was evening and they were trying to find a bank I guess but I ended up with literally between ten to twenty letters from banks and dings on my score. That's whatever, but this is where it really gets frustrating... They had a car for $6,200.00. We thought it seemed like a great car. We put $1,800.00 down. On our way home the check engine light came on. We reached out to the company and were pretty much told there was nothing they could do because we already bought it. One of their finance guys met us in Hood River with the official paper work to sign since it was late the day we bought it, he said we would get a copy of everything and we never did. Than when we get a letter from the bank to log in and see our loan details it said we owed $14,000.00 and than some. I reached out to them again and was told there was a warranty on there that we never agreed to. We carefully went iver everything when we were signing the paper work and that was not something we agreed to. We were told we couldn't do the paper work over email we would have to drive back down there so we did. We signed new paper work to remove the warranty and remove all the extra money. Well I called back because it had been thirty days and it still showed an extremely high balance. The lady I spoke with that time said she didn't see that we ever removed it. I told her we had gone down and signed new paper work and we were told we had to go do that in person and she said she could do it for us without us having to go down. I waited and waited and it still had the balance. Finally they took a chunk off but it now says we owe $6,600.00 and some change. I called again because I don't understand how a car that costs $6,200.00 with a $1,800.00 down payment and three months already of paying $270.00 means we still owe $6,600.00. They said because of an anti theft protection that comes with the car that is roughly $900.00 and than DMV fees and taxes. I don't know how all of that would equal $3,000.00.... On top of that we are still having issues because there is something wrong with the car. We never received a copy of the paper work which I requested today so I am supposed to get that in the mail but I am disappointed I really feel like they screwed us. This is my daughter's first car and now we currently owe more than the sale price was after paying almost $3,000.00 on the car. If I would have known it was going to be like this I never would have given my business to them. One last note service wise... I called to speak to someone from finance about why there was an extra $3,000.00 still on there and they took down my name and number and said they would call me back and did not. I called again, gave someone my info again, and never got a call back. I called again and was placed on hold and than disconnected. And I had to keep calling before I was ever even to discuss this with anyone. I'm glad to see a lot of people had good reviews but unfortunately my families experience left us with a crappy car and a larger debt than we knew we were signing up for...

This is the right Mazda dealer still. Even though management has changed and there's the "Power Mazda" across the street, this is the one you want to go to. No bullshit, no hiding interest rates to trick you into a huge payment. Very upfront and didn't hide anything in the process. Also, another shoutout to Jeff, he guided us along the process, showed us exactly what we wanted and didn't try to get us into vehicles we weren't interested in. He did everything he could to get us a great rate for an unexpected new car we had to get since the last Mazda, which we also bought from this dealership, died at 390K miles. Mazda is a great very underrated brand right now and this is the best dealership to get one from in the area. Keep it up.

Overall an easy and enjoyable buying experience compared to other dealers! Victor in sales and Josh one of the sales managers were extremely kind and helpful. I called to inquire about two used CX-50s that ended up being above budget and Victor asked if I’d consider a new one of a different trim. I told him a new one was also out of my budget by the numbers but he and Josh worked really hard to put me and my wife in the best car we could get for the best price. A few times I told them even if we couldn’t make the numbers work I’d be writing a great review! They were never defensive about what I was able to offer them. I felt like we were able to have very pleasant but honest conversations. Multiple times they said they wanted to earn our business which no other dealer said or made us feel. We made the trek from Marysville WA to pick up our new ‘25 CX-50 premium on about a days notice. Victor made sure we went on a test drive and was the most knowledgable person we spoke to about the car compared to other dealers. He also helped us get set up before we drove away. We are very thankful we called and that Victor picked up! My wife enjoyed the sales process more than any other dealership because she didn’t have to talk to anyone or walk in until we knew exactly what we were walking out with. We will absolutely be telling family, friends, and coworkers to give Victor a call. One thing I wish was a bit smoother was when we talked to the finance manager. He was nice as well but was a little pushy with the warranty offers. It’s a lot of information to process after a long drive and make a quick decision on. My advice would be to prepare to firmly decline during the sales process or to look into which warranty or maintenance plans you might be interested in ahead of time and be prepared to negotiate that pricing and terms separately from the vehicle purchase.
