  I will never use Penske again. They did not have the size truck I requested so they upgraded to the largest truck. They told me it would not make a difference in the gas mileage which it did. I had a light load and was told I would get about 12miles to the gallon but I only got 9. It had airbrakes and I ended up having to hire a Professional truck driver to drive it for me. I had no choice because I had the movers already lined up and could not reschedule them as they were booked way out. When I called Penske the lady told me they must have given me a commercial truck which is not suppose to happen. It was a new truck but would only get 35 to 45 miles an hour. At 1 a.m. we ended up having to have maintenance come and fix it in the middle of no mans land. We had to stay in a hotel which Penske covered but I lost the hotel that I paid for ahead of time which came out of my pocket. I had to pay the truck driver more as it took a day longer to get to my new home. Plus I had to pay for his hotel. All in all I ended up paying over $1500 in extra expenses. I asked for a refund. They offered me $300 and I never received it. I told them that was not ok, so I guess they thought I didn't deserve any compensation. They were also very hard to communicate with and would not return my phone calls. Stay away from Penske. They are bad business!!!!

  The rental process was very easy, and the service was top-notch. The truck was well maintained, and the car carrier was brand new.
