Horrible, pushy loud man calls me just one day out of the hospital with pnemonia. Tries to bully me into making a reserveration, when I said I needed some time to coordinate a ride since "Uh she lives way up there" he's announcing to the office why they can't deliver the car. He wants to rent me a truck, I don't need a truck. He won't give specific mid size SUV makes available or the price that I had looked up earlier. He asked if my vehicle was totaled, I said I don't know, and was thinking that's none of your business. While I'm groggily searching for my calendar info, he keeps yelling on speaker, I said will you just shut up a minute so I can think. He hung up. Whatever, I get the Farmers Insurance text info with rental # to call. I get Lois who was very patient with me trying to line up a ride and see what my other obligations were. I figure my farrier can drop me off the next day by 4 pm. She says great, you are all set! I thanked her for her patience and explained that I was hung up on before. She said no problem, I gotcha covered. 2 hrs later Andrew calls me interrupting my nap, says yuck, yuck yuck, I uh, see you have a reservation with us for 4 pm tomorrow, I said yes, Lois got me al set up. He starts telling me the info I need, I say Lois covered all that is there something else you need? He launches into how telling one of his employees to shut up was unacceptable. I say, hey I'm a 70 yr old woman that just got out of the hospital and he was a bully and wouldn't give me the time or the information I needed, so I just needed him to be quiet, so I could get my calendar together. He says, uh, yuck, yuck, yuck, well that's not my problem. I said if he was trying to lecture me, that I did not need that and would have appreciated some respect. Is there anything, else because I need my rest. He says, well no, hangs up. The next morning at 8 am (today October 28, 2025) he calls me again to say he had a discussion with his manager and they will cancel my reservation. I asked for the managers name and to have him call me. He, Andrew Oatmen, says he will try to have his supervisor call. He never did. In the meantime I left msg for my Farmers Rep then went out to barn to work with the farrier. I come in to get the Farmers Rep msg that he talked to the company and I will have to rent somewhere else. This was a bit disturbing as he had not got my side of the situation, but, whatever, I have Plan B and will happily pay my money to another company for probably about a month of car rental. I am disturbed that Andrew felt it so necessary to GET BACK AT ME. I wonder if they work on commission and were pissed that Lois had no problem setting up my reservation. I will not be bullied by a bunch of controlling men. My money, my choice. I am happily set up with the same vehicle Toyota Rav 4 in a different city than Roseburg. So, take that and shove up your snot nosed face, Andrew!!!! I will reach out to Lois to get her statement. She was everything that they were not, kind, considerate and didn't ask if I had kids or if my vehicle was totaled which are totally unacceptable questions. There is always a Plan B and I am the customer and have never been lectured about how I respond to their customer service rep rudeness. Grow up and have some respect.
