  Everyone was beyond kind and they were very helpful, respectful, and patient. This isn't always my experience with getting oil changed or receiving a service that is in such high demand (I had tried two other places but they weren't taking more people since closing time was "soon"), so I was extra grateful

  This is always a good location for getting eyes on what is happening with your ride. Quick oil changes and updates on anything that might need attention eg transmission, leaks, differential, exhaust.

  VAlvoline-440 NE Weidler street, Portland Oregon I came for an oil change on a busy Friday afternoon and apparently everyone else decided to do the same thing. I had the opportunity to observe the employees while I was waiting in line . They were uber busy . The entire Valvoline staff were professional, friendly , accommodating and busting their behinds with a smile on their faces . I appreciate the honesty of my service tech because he informed me I still could get use out of my air filter and didn’t necessarily need a new one. When he showed me my existing air filter compared to the new one, I chose to purchase the new air filter . They also put air in one of my tires because the low tire pressure dashboard light came on Hiervet putting air in tires are among the many quality checks they automatically do . My the low brake fluid light was came on about a week before I went to get the oil change This particular Valvoline location does not do brake fluids, and flush . However , the tech recommended I go to Les Schwab which is a few blocks away. Keep up the excellent customer service and technical skills! Sone of these car dealerships, restaurants, TSA’s and others businesses could learn what excellent customer service and professionalism is from Valvoline .

  As a woman, I’m usually terrified to take my car in just because I know they know I don’t know a lot about the car so everywhere else has tried to sell me things or sneak maintenance in without asking but I’ve never had that problem with valvoline. They’re always super nice and explain why they’re doing stuff and show you what they think you could use but not force it. They’re the only place I’ll be going for an oil change that’s for sure

  I went there to service my vehicle and Matt the entire time was trying to upsell me and tell me I had all this wrong with my vehicle. I only took it here for an oil change and Matt kept prying and prying for me to buy extra services. When I said no he looked visibly irritated and I overheard him say he wants to get “a good ticket”. These people are scam artists, stay away from this location specially Matt he is very rude and arrogant.
