  I have rented from this location two different times. Both times the vehicles that were given to me had bald tires. This last time I rented I called ahead of time , not once, but twice to request a 4 wheel drive or at least an all wheel drive because we were headed to an area that gets snow. When I arrived to get the vehicle I just saw a SUV. I know very little about other cars makes and models compared to my own, but assumed that my multiple calls had worked. I also agreed to pay extra for the "upgraded" vehicle to have this capability. When I got the car back to our house to load up (we were leaving town right away) my husband noticed the tires and was very frustrated. There was zero time left to return the vehicle and request another. We didn't realize until we were fairly far on our trip that there was also zero AWD or 4 wheel drive. Long and short it was a very difficult and scary trip with such bad tires. For context when I have rented from Hertz before and asked for 4 wheel drive, one phone call and I got it. When I mentioned the tires when we got back and the lack of tread and asked the attendant to check them himself, he did check them and said "Well, now the have no tread." As if they gave me perfectly treaded tires and after one trip they are now completely bald. We did end up sliding off the highway, thank God it wasn't too bad of an accident. We were traveling well below the speed limit and those tires slipped and we drove into the ditch. Thank God we were going slow enough we didn't hurt anyone and only had minor bumper damage. The only reason for the two stars instead of one is because they are on time picking you up and their staff is polite and comped me my gas due to my frustration. I don't think this is a floor staff issue, this is a management decision problem. People could die, you need to make sure what you are renting is road worthy and safe! I shouldn't have to be checking out the tires like a technician, that is not my job and if I ask for something specific weeks in advance and call you multiple times, plus being willing to pay for it, deliver what I am asking for or refer me elsewhere. I would not rent from this place again.

  Always a good experience, the only minor upset is that my car was not ready for my last appointment to pick up. They claimed it was because they were filling it with gas but 30 minutes later the car was given to me with half a tank. I need the unlimited miles so it is what it is, go early🤷

  Excellent service! Was picked up from the shop where my truck was getting worked on at. My car was ready and waiting when we got to the lot. Upon returning the vehicle, I was given a ride back to where my vehicle was at. Will definitely rent another car through enterprise! Especially the location on 82nd and Woodstock in Portland.

  Extremely friendly service. The office in Vancouver rocks but the office in Portland, Oregon went a step further when I turned the car in late because I went to jail offered every discount available to help me make up for my loss and understood when I had to bring the car back a couple days late for an extra fee of course. But all above all they are a great car company to rent a car from and I would do it again in a heartbeat
