  Safelite is the most incompetent glass replacement company out there. First, I asked for OEM glass, and they used aftermarket but didn’t bother to tell me. Then, after driving up and down elevation a few times, as one does in their camping van, the windshield they poorly installed failed, but they refuse to honor the “warranty” they claim to offer. The customer service is genuinely horrendous, and I recommend going literally anywhere else.

  I usually only take the time to write positive reviews. Unfortunately, my recent experience here warrants honest feedback. I brought my car in for a repair and was told it would take about an hour to an hour and a half. After five hours, the car was still not ready. I understand that delays happen. My frustration was not with the extended timeline itself, but with the lack of communication throughout the process. I repeatedly had to check in to get updates, and it wasn’t until several hours in that I was told the delay was related to getting my smart features back online. Two of the three employees I spoke with deflected responsibility rather than clearly explaining what was happening, which added to the confusion. When I explained that I could no longer wait — as I’m a breastfeeding mom with a one-year-old at home — I was told someone could come to my house another day to complete the issue. That appointment was scheduled for today. This morning, I received a voicemail saying that would not be possible after all because my car is a Subaru and must be serviced in person. I’ve tried calling back, but the call does not go through and the voicemail box is full. I’ve also been on hold with general customer service for over 15 minutes. The primary issue for me is the lack of clear communication and follow-through. Delays can be understandable; poor communication and changing information without accountability are much harder to accept. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvements in customer service and coordination moving forward.

  The NE Portland team was FANTASTIC, the work was done exceptionally fast and I was treated very well. I liked the atmosphere of the place and there was a very good mood there. NB: I drove out to the shop on NE158th. It is not immediately obvious where it is, I had to drive in circles for a while, but persevered and eventually found them. They are a great team and I think well priced too.

  Very difficult to be in contact with. Also when given a quote it was changed like 5x when I checked online. Had an appointment today and they said they tried contacting me and knocking on my door. I never heard any knock on my door or received a phone call. Needed this done today because it rains next week now they canceled my appointment.

  Took my truck in to get a windshield replacement. I was happy with the service. They told me it would take approximately an hour and a half to two hours and it took two hours. Staff is very polite and the facility is clean. The only note is they stay in their website that there's places to eat nearby which would be nice to go hang out rather than the lobby but the closest one is actually a 10 minute walk so if it's raining, you May get a bit wet. But the brew pub 10 minutes away is actually pretty good and has decent food.
