When I took my car a new mechanic they discovered high water content in the brake fluid, which was disappointing, but it got worse when they removed my wheels to bleed the lines and discovered an entire wrong lug nut torqued to destruction on one of my posts. I thought I'd save a buck, but it ended up costing me a great deal more when I had to repair the damage done to my vehicle. I guess I'm grateful that it was forced on hard enough that my wheel didn't come off on the highway.
- RRRDOct 7, 20251.0I went here for a routine oil change and opted to include a tire rotation. Afterward, I ran a couple of quick errands, and when I got home I noticed clear damage to my rocker panel. I’m as sure as one can reasonably be without seeing the damage happen that it wasn’t there before my visit. An auto body technician later inspected it and said the damage is consistent with a car being lifted improperly. I have contacted Jiffy Lube about the issue and am still waiting for it to be addressed. I’m sharing this to document my experience and to remind others to check their vehicles after service. Update: To the owner: Thank you for responding. I went back to your shop the very next morning to show the damage. After several attempts I did get in contact with the district manager, who unfortunately denied responsibility for the damage. This situation has been extremely inconvenient for me, especially since I don’t have full coverage and money is tight right now. I wanted to make that clear here so others understand that I have followed up.
