  We were referred to Hillside by our MINI shop after our Audi Q5 mirror was busted. They mentioned Hillside might have a repair kit to fix it. When we arrived, the team let us know the mirror was beyond repair but offered to look for a used one since a new one would cost over $1,500. In the meantime, they managed to “rig” it temporarily so we could drive safely—and even vacuumed the floor before sending us on our way at no charge! I later found a replacement mirror on eBay for just $70, and Hillside installed it for only $92.50. They were friendly, honest, and very reasonably priced. After two disaster experiences with Beaverton Audi, we’re incredibly grateful to have found this shop. We’re customers for life.

  Took my 2014 VW Passat TDI to them a couple of weeks ago. The CEL code showed the Adblue sending unit/heater had failed, and our dealership emissions warranty had expired at the beginning of the year (convenient, right?). Since our local independent VW shop couldn't do it, I called around for price quotes. This was the only shop I talked to that was able to give me anything resembling a firm price for the job. When the job was said and done, the final price was only $70 over the quote given. They also cleaned my interior, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Overall, if my local VW independent can't do the job, this is where I'll be taking my car too.

  Great people, terrible communication; it worked out so I don't care but some tips: ask when to drop your car off, they start their day at 5am. I showed up at 1pm, and the manager said I was late and would charge me for it. 2nd, he didn't charge me but he has no tell when he's being sarcastic. He's a good guy, but not the best communicator. 3rd, their shop has the weirdest lay out, forget trying to follow directions, just accept you're going to mess it up. Their parking lot is actually the salon next to them's parking lot, and their office is on the 2nd floor. 4th, the walk up to their office is up a super steep road. It might as well be a sheer cliff. Come prepared. Other than that, great people, might be the best VW mech's in town. My car needed engine repair and they were the only people equipped to do it.

  What a great experience!!! Honest!!! Told me things I didn’t even know about my vehicle that the dealer didn’t tell me!!! Highly recommend!!!!
