I read quite a lot of great reviews about Christian Rodriguez here, so I went to Auto Zone first. I’m pretty sure they are written by friends or family. He told me they couldn’t fix a fuse for me because it would take a really long time, but they could ask their mechanic (but the mechanic would probably want some extra money for that). Shady, shady. I will always go to O’Reilly’s from now on because of this stark contrast in service.
- YSYoon SaechaoNov 23, 20251.0Today I called to see if they had/could help me install a battery on my vehicle. They confirmed that had the battery and they would help me install the battery. I told them I was about 10 minutes away. Upon arrival Jonathan said he's currently they only one on the clock and he can't leave the store unattended, the other associate was on lunch and would be back in like an hour. I asked if I could use their 10mm socket and ratchet. And I'd change it myself. I'm parked right in front of the entrance. Jonathan said no. I was very frustrated, because I literally called 10 minutes prior to arrival and they said they could replace the battery for me. If they would've said no when I called, I would've just went somewhere else. As I was purchasing the battery the other worker clocked back into work apparently. So now I asked Jonathan if they would be about to help change the battery now since the other guy is back on the clock. He said yes, he'll have the new worker that started about a week ago help me, which wasn't a problem, BUT they literally had me wait outside in the rain while they proceeded to help 5 other customers check out, install wiper blades, ect prior to getting to me, even though I got there first. First and last time here.

I’m beyond grateful it was this one. Christian Rodriguez an employee at Auto Zone scanned my car, found the problem and explained the problem to me. He referred me to a friend of his that’s a mechanic and said he would come to us. He contacted the mechanic, explained our situation and within an hour he was there helping us. Christian offered for my children and I to stay inside for warmth and came to check on us while the car was being worked on. His mechanic did a wonderful job and he did it quick. I have nobody family here and I was spiraling, but they helped me feel at ease. I left there with peace and mind. I unfortunately did not get the mechanics name and I regret that, but if you need somebody good and on the spot he comes to you, just ask Christian! Christian deserves a raise. I travel the country for work and I’m constantly on the road with my kids. I have never once been to an Auto Zone or met a mechanic that was this amazingly helpful and patient with my situation. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Christian definitely deserves a raise that’s for sure!

It kept being slow to catch when i started the engine. I was so impressed with Christian’s patience, kindness, and professionalism. I could tell they were short staffed but Christian made each customer feel heard and taken care of as we all waited in line. He kept me in the loop as he replaced my battery and gave me advice for future needs. Thanks for making the experience painless! Christian R i believe - he’s the man
