    Alamo PDX was stellar. 5 stars in December, 2025. staff was extremely fast, friendly and efficient. Even better than my usual rentals at Alamo, which are nearly always great. PDX did a great job and would I choose them over any of the other rental agencies. Zero negatives, and only positives. Rare with a car rental.

    The PDX Alamo rental was easy and no long wait for paperwork. I literally was in and out with my rental in less than 10min. I'll come back for rental on my next trip.

    I reserved a full size suv months prior to my trip and they did not have it in stock the stuck me with a minivan and no other options. I did get a small discount at the end but they did not offer it and the attendants were not concerned that alamo had not provided the car they reserved

    Overall, fantastic experience with Alamo! It was a bit confusing to locate the rental area at first, but once we got there, everything went smoothly. We initially upgraded from a subcompact to a compact SUV, but the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross we received was much too small for our group of four adults and one 1.5-year-old. We could barely fit two adults in the back row, let alone two adults plus a car seat. That said, the customer service was excellent. We explained the issue, and Kate from Alamo remedied it the very next day—just in time for our road trip from Seattle to the Oregon Coast and Portland. She upgraded us to a Chrysler Pacifica, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and did so at no additional charge. Thank you, Alamo, for turning a stressful situation into a great experience!
