  Said that I “wanted my motor rushed” all I asked was if it could be done in a couple of months for a car show. Gave a 5,000$ dollar budget told them we didn’t have anymore they said “ hey it’s the guy that can’t afford his engine” well I’m 22 and just had my first kid they could have turned the work down, I showed up, it was 8,500$, 4,275$ in labor and 3,725$ in parts, some used parts and some off of Amazon, which he didn’t okay with me before assembly besides some nice used rocker arms. Mind you I did not get a new block a new crank new rods new heads didn’t even get arp hardware besides on the intake runners. Got motor back it’s ticking on start up send him a video, he tells me my hydraulic roller lifters don’t have any adjustment then says the sound is fine. I park the car for 2 years after putting maybe 5 miles on the new motor, finally decide one day to tear into it to see what crappy work was done and boom right away notice that the tick he had told me not to worry about was a lifter that wasn’t pumped up and yes it made this noise from first start up and yes we did everything correct then notice the inside of the valve cover got the snot beat out of it by the rocker arm then noticed it’s already leaking from oil pan and front main really bad yes he did pre oil this thing and “make sure everything was ready to go” his words were just plop it in and start it. Long story short I call he sends me a new lifter only problem is he send me a lifter for a ford then proceeds to tell me he “heard from some little dweeb in town that I beat on that motor already” so incorrect considering I couldn’t get it to run for more then 5 minutes. And let me tell you there’s even more to this story I wish I could share. He’s living off his dad’s name, lindvig was amazing before the son took it over. Almost 10,000$ dollars and the engine has less power then it did before. I have wanted an engine built by them since I was a little boy and boy did dean let us down.

  The owner was awesome I needed a very small part cut and he got me taken care of in 3 minutes instead of how you usually have to drop things off and pick up later and because it was so fast he didn't charge me anything but I can and will refer him business for sure

  Have taken two heads here. I paid to have them cleaned also and they came back with tons of grease still on it. I was charged way more than other shops around but the quality of work was bad. The guy was also grumpy and had terrible customer service.

  great work but was told 275 to bore and i show up to get almost 400$ bill
