I’m extremely disappointed with Point S. I want to start this off by saying we have been very patient and understanding. I get accidents happen, but the way this one was handled is beyond me.
I’ve been having issues getting my wheels balanced. We have taken it there at least 5 times with no fix. I was told to bring it back in so they could try it again. They had a new guy doing it and apparently he used the wrong size tool to take off the lug nuts and messed up my wheels a decent amount.
They initially were very apologetic and explained what happened after reviewing their camera footage. They told me they’d reach out to a local wheel restorer to get them fixed. Okay great. I really appreciated them wanting to make it right. Well, after a month of waiting and “no response” from their supposed contact, I decided to reach out to some local shops. One single phone call later, I reached a wheel restorer, who turned out to be the very same person they claimed hadn’t responded. He said he never got any calls or texts from Point S. Within a week, he came out and repaired the wheels himself. Great work by the way Alloy Wheel Repair!
When we initially stopped by to tell them we contacted their guy, Eddie had the audacity to say we should split the cost. Excuse me? We didn’t damage the wheels, they did. Why should we pay for their mistake? They then switched the story to “us having the wrong lug nuts” and that’s why it happened. I’ve had these wheels for 4 years and not one person has ever damaged them, so that excuse is not okay. Eddie finally agreed to cover the full cost.
After the wheels were finished, we stopped in to pick up the car. The owner was incredibly rude about having to spend $800, covering the cost for a $100 alignment and giving us different lug nuts for free (which we didn’t ask for) The level of attitude over fixing their own error was unbelievable. I am so glad I didn’t have to pay the $100 alignment either since it’s still off!
Between the poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service, I’m absolutely done with this place.
If you go here, be prepared to stay on top of them if something goes wrong, because they won’t take responsibility unless you chase them down. I’m convinced they were hoping I’d just forget about it. My wheels are no longer produced and irreplaceable, and they handled the situation with zero care. Now I have to spend even more money on going to a shop that actually knows what they’re doing. I’m also out of a warranty on the tires since I have zero faith in them to make it right should the other shop we go to say the tires are defective.
Bottom line: go somewhere else. Don’t risk your vehicle or your sanity here.

I was told my car might have a bad starter. I took it to Gill's for an oil change and possibly to replace the starter. They went over the whole car - starter, brakes, tires, etc - and told me everything was fine. I paid for the oil change and left with new oil and piece of mind. How do you put a price on that? Thanks for the service and honesty@

I just saw your response and it wouldn't let me respond. It was a 1/2 inch Allen head bolt. I have a video of it. Not just a screw and after just getting them replaced the night before they should have been covered for a brand new tire. No questions or arguments anout it. Not just a patch job. We JUST bought them and then had to argue about while in the hospital trying to recover instead of just taking care of it and being rude about the entire situation instead of just taking initiative and taking care of it for us. We were basically stranded while I was in active labor because of a mistake lebanon canega made instead of just taking care of it. So yes I am still upset about it because that is now something that we get to think about in our core memory of bring our baby into the world.
