- JDJanet DOct 13, 20251.0Ridiculous experience today. We filled up at the pump spending $40, went inside spent a little over $10 on froyo and then went to get fountain sodas on "the other side." We only had a hundred dollar bill on us and nicely asked if he could make change without it causing an issue for them, he said unfortunately that he could not. We then presented a card to complete the transaction. We were told that our total was $2.78 and he could not use a card for less than $3.00 due to a new policy change. We explained that we only had the one hundred dollars in cash or the card. He refused to allow us to complete the transaction. I also explained to him that we had just filled up with fuel, had purchased Froyo before getting the sodas. We then had to buy a pack of gum to get over the $3.00 threshold. Rather than leaving feeling as valued customers, we felt strong armed into buying an additional item. Quite the opposite of feeling valued. To top it off, when we got out to the car I found that my fountain soda was flat. 😞 An unhappy, former, regular customer.
