  After driving all the way from Florida, I discovered a bubble on one of my tires. Had to drive 25 more miles in order to reach gils point s tire and Auto service in Hood River. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I was back on the road with a new tire and a smile on my face in 45 minutes. I even got to pet a dog in the shop.

  Honestly one of the best shops I've been to in a long time. I'm a lineman out of Spokane and I had a catastrophic brake failure mid trip. Cruz and his crew were fast, friendly and got me back on the road in record time. This Point S is like no other truly unmatched service and professionalism.

  ***Review update. The manager got in touch with me and made things right. They went above and beyond, even caughting that the control arm issue was a small repair that they fixed, saving me a few hundred dollars! Will very lonely switch my loyalties after this. This place tried to rip me off!!! I went there last week to get 2 tires replaced. The tires seem good quality and were affordable, plus they caught a bad control arm, which I'm super grateful for, and let me know my front brakes need replaced which is why they even get 2 stars. But now the bad. They quoted $1,000 to replace the control arm and $500 to do JUST my front brake pads. I got a second opinion because that seemed steep, especially when all of 4 of my brakes, including rotors, were just done for $750 at Les Schwab about a year and a half ago. I was quoted $337 for the control arm replacement at Les Scwab and I'll be doing my brakes my dang self for around $130. Total repair is less than 1/3 of what they were trying to get out of me! It's been a long time since I've felt this insulted or disgusted by a local business.

  We stopped by to get the wheel bearings fixed on our animal hauler and they were able to get us in right away. James was particularly helpful and kind! The price was much cheaper than other places around town. The work was sound and the trailer is riding smooth.

  Got a new set of tires put on my van. The guys actually doing the work were cool. The guy at the front desk was rude and dismissive. Ignored me when I tried to explain that a part was missing for reinstalling the spare. Sure enough the guy's outside were out there trying to figure it out since he didn't tell them. It's all good though. I sent them some pizza.
