  They tried to charge 30 thousand dollars for a new engine and transmission, then offered 500 dollars to take the car off me, we took the car to another shop and it was a $300 fix. Don’t give this shop your business. they then responded to my review lying, they did quote 20 thousand for a new engine and 10 thousand for the transmission, then one of the mechanics offered 500 dollars for the car. This place is a scam!

  Scam alert !We took our son’s Lexus in. They said he needed a new engine and transmission $30k in repairs. They offered to buy the car for $500. My son was devastated. Our neighbor said get a second opinion, we did it was a coil problem $300 fix.

  I really wanted this to be a good experience, but I left feeling pretty frustrated and honestly a little uneasy. I brought my 2018 Dodge Journey in for a check engine light and an AC issue (passenger side blowing hot). From the start, there wasn’t much communication about diagnostic fees, and I was later presented with multiple charges that were never clearly explained or approved upfront. What bothered me most is that the main issue I came in for — the oil pressure code — wasn’t actually diagnosed. I was told they could only pull generic codes because Dodge has things “locked,” which didn’t give me much confidence that we were getting to the root of the problem. Then I was quoted around $8,000 and 30 hours of labor for the AC. That just didn’t sit right with me, especially since the symptoms were only on one side. I even called my warranty company to ask about labor expectations, and they told me that around 10 hours would be considered on the high end for that type of repair and recommended I get a second opinion. To make it more confusing, when I picked up my car, both sides were blowing cold again. I completely understand that shops need to be paid for their time, and I don’t mind paying for good, clear work. I just didn’t feel like I got answers or a level of care that matched the price I was being quoted. At the end of the day, I left without a diagnosis for my main concern and feeling like I needed a second opinion before doing anything major. I’m sure others may have had better experiences, but I would personally recommend asking a lot of questions and possibly getting another opinion before moving forward with big repairs.
