Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service is located adjacent to the Village Plaza Truck Stop, at the junction of Interstate 5 and Oregon Highway 228, near Halsey, Oregon. - AKAriean KhoketkhamMar 24, 20265.0Before leaving for our vacation, I had my car serviced for an oil change and asked for the CV axle to be checked and replaced if necessary. I was told everything was in good condition and nothing needed to be done. Unfortunately, about halfway through our 20-hour trip, it became very clear that was not the case. We brought the car to Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. They found that the left axle was completely stripped and the right side was close to failing as well. They helped us quickly order the necessary parts, worked with us on pricing, and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Their team was professional, honest, and very pleasant throughout the entire process. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I’m very grateful for their help and would highly recommend them.
