I go to the Cubit Street location, in Eugene, Oregon. For me, this is why I really like the crew they have. 1. Great communication. They always let me know what's going on, how they're going to perform services, what my car needs, and how long everything is going to take. I make a ton of decisions in my life, due to my responsibilities, and it's lovely for me, to receive service, directions, and decisions that benefit me, without "lifting a finger", and simply just hanging out in my car. I think they're fast and convenient, and would not know why anybody would complain about them, if that was ever a case. 2. I like that they offer services that I might need, or in the future, I might need, but I never feel pressure to purchase. I feel more, like I get educated. Because of this respect, I usually will purchase an additional service. While my truck does need the additional service from time to time, I purchase them more out of wanting to spend my hard earned money out of support, to keep those there working. The formula of these guys provide, probably took awhile to master, but when it comes down to it, for the customer, it's about as easy as it gets, with massive amounts convenience, quickness, and great customer service. Any complaints about the method, I'd be bold to say, it's on the customer, and most likely their bad or selfish attitude. Lastly, I like to keep my money in my neighborhood. So, I enjoy a brand that allows me to choose how I want to spend, and where I want to spend. It's very important to me, that my money is valued, in a world that doesn't, and for me, this location makes me feel that way, as well as they are very consistent. Excellence to me, comes from being consistently good, and these people are that.
In closing, the only adjustment I'd suggest, and maybe this is a spider sense, I'd love to see these people get a bonus, or friendly cash stipend from the corporation or ownership, because of how they reflect and represent the brand. Often times, there is a core brand, then it franchises, and then the value of what they're trying to sell, gets watered down. So I feel the Cubit St gang, gets about as close as they can to mirroring wherever home quarters is, and that's a feat. So, out of hope, it'd be cool to see these people get some liquid cash to bless them up, for simply being who they are, not for how many services or additional services they sell, to get any bonuses. Just a thought. I try and tip them, and I have to tell them it's for the coffee shop nearby, to get some caffeine for their day, just to accept. Long story short, I like these guys allot! I hope the company appreciates what they have in their employees, and I think they are capable of being a good place to harvest future leaders for the franchises. I hope they are extending options or possibilities to their people. As long as I'm close enough, I'll maintain being a customer and fan of this location. Well done!
This was my first time at Valvoline and WOW, what an amazing experience. The service was quick, efficient, and super friendly. The technicians are knowledgeable and helpful, without making you feel like they’re pushing services or add-ons without justification. I got an oil change, wipers, and air and cabin filters. I also really appreciated the fluid check and top-off! Big shout out to crew that assisted me today: Christin, TJ, Norra, Dakota, Michael, Kyle, and Torrey. Hopefully I didn’t forget anyone. Super awesome crew here at the Valvoline on Barger and Cubit. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for making this such an easy and painless process!
