  Most reliable rental car service with reputable vehicles. Their vehicles are always clean and are newer models. National rental car company tops their competitors on every level.

  Fast and easy rental experience. No forms to fill out. No long lines. Just showed my ID, got the keys, and go. Return was easy as well.

  Arrived here with a National Reservation for that evening, I thought, but I had inadvertently cancelled my reservation for that evening and shifted it to a month later. My bad. The counter woman was simultaneously unsympathetic, with a dash of passive hostility. I proceeded to revise my reservation to pickup that evening. While I was doing that, she informed me that I could do what I wanted with the reservation, they did have cars, but all were reserved, and I would not be getting one, reservation or not. At this point I recognized the classic Seinfeld routine (we'll let you make a reservation, but we got no cars) and asked her to get in contact with a manager. The duty manager emerged from the back room and proceeded to tell me that I was disrespecting his counter rep and now disrespecting him. This caught me off-guard, I would have thought that refusing to provide a long time National customer who had a valid National car reservation for that evening would be the epitome of disrespect. He then told me that if he released a car to me, then another customer who was better organized than me and had made their reservation some time ahead, would be left without one when they arrived later that night. It would seem a new low in "blame the customer" service in the rental car business for a public facing manager of a branch that permits rentals with zero inventory to critique the travel management habits of a customer with an actual reservation, while the branch has no usable inventory. Normally, National is great, but I wouldn't waste time or energy on this branch again. Zero organization, zero customer assistance, zero service failure recovery!
