  We have THE BEST experiences every time we rent from Alamo at the Eugene OR AirPort! The representative is so helpful, and she is the same Rep we worked with a year ago! Good for you, Alamo, for creating a work space that allows for employee retention!

  I rented a vehicle from Alamo in January, and the car I was given did not have working heat on the driver’s side. It only blew cold air, which made driving in the mornings and evenings—when temperatures were 32 degrees or lower—extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I contacted customer service and was only offered the option to return to the airport to exchange the vehicle. This was not workable for my schedule, and I also didn’t feel I should have to pay for the gas to drive an unsafe vehicle all the way back to the airport. I was not staying anywhere near the airport, so this was not a reasonable solution. Because of this issue, my daughter and I ended up riding with others, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a rental car in the first place. After returning the vehicle, I reached out again to request that the car be inspected by a mechanic before being rented to someone else, but I never received a response. I also completed the post‑rental survey and indicated that I wanted someone to contact me—still no response. Overall, extremely disappointing experience and poor customer service follow‑through. I would not recommend renting from Alamo based on how this situation was handled.

  Alamo has been definitely by far the best Rental Car Experience yet. The agents are friendly, kind and Just pleasant to work with. Not pushing you to upsell, etc. And reasonable rates. I will definitely keep using Alamo hands-down best car rental experience yet!
