I never thought I would be writing a review for a car rental agency! I mean— what’s there to write? You’re just a number and a dollar.
But what I experienced at Enterprise Beaverton so surprised and blessed me! They were down to earth, real, kind, and present. I felt seen from the minute I walked in the door!
They took interest in my situation! They offered to give me a ride home and told me they would have gladly picked me up at my house to get to them! Who? Does? That!???
Meg helped me get situated in the car. She also gave me tips on finding another as I was in the market. They even cut me a deal I didn’t deserve when I forgot to fill the car with gas on the return.
This is above and beyond. They don’t just think of themselves as being in the rental car business. No, they’re in the business of people! They care for and about people and happen to rent cars as well! How rare is that?
Thank you for making what could have been a pain and a stretch into a gift. I’m the better man for having met you all!!

10 stars for being the reason companies like Turo will always have a market for the disillusioned and disregarded customers of giants like these.
BEWARE of this place! There seems to be a lack of common sense in customer service these days and either this Enterprise is full of unethical company shills or they really are that dense and incapable of reasoning. We got a rental while our car was repaired. When we turned the car in, they told us $25 for 21 days. Now, I went to grade school. I learned how to do multiplication when I was about 8 or 9 so I have decades of experience with that "advanced arithmetic". I know that 25x21=525. So we drop the car off and the company hack who's checking the car in tells us that it's only going to cost us $425. I stop him and tell him that 425 is less than $25 a day. I tell him it's just over $20 a day (In reality it was $20.20 for those who care). He assured us that that was what we were going to be charged. We asked for a receipt and the guy was like, don't worry, I'll email it to you. We asked again for a paper copy and he assured us that this is how they do it. Said fine and left .
Next day we see that we were charged $525. So we go in to talk to them about this and get clarify on the situation. This is where we were confronted by the guy who clearly learned from the leaders in the customer service revolution of the 2020's. We told him our issue and that we just wanted to see an itemized receipt showing the charges so we can see where the discrepancy lies. He gives us a summary of charge, which only shows the rate the insurance company paid and the rate we paid plus taxes. Total is $525. Now this is where the gaslaterning begins. He tells us that we left a $50 deposit and that was added to the bill. So he first guy just spoke wrong and meant an additional $425. Even the youngest of you can add 50 to 425 and that comes to $475. So I ask where the other $50 came from and can we see an itemized receipt. So he tweaks his story and says that there was $99 that he didn't add the $425 which makes it $525. So again, I ask for an itemized receipt. He points to the 'Summary of Charges' and says, "this is the itemized receipt." I point to it and tell him, "this is a summary of charges, as it says right here." (Pointing to the same piece of paper." " Well that's what he have for you. I don't know what to tell you. It's an itemized receipt.". I pause for a second. "Your company has an itemized list of charges. We want to see that" "this is the Itemized receipt." "No it's not. It says so right there." "This is the itemized receipt. You were charged correctly. I'M SORRY IF YOU DIDNT UNDERSTANDs"(😂🤣}. I love it when they blame the customer. Immediately I interrupted him saying, "I understood. Your employee didn't do his job but assured us he it was always $525 and that we didn't we were wrong. Clearly, they don't give an explitive about our concern. Knowing the "feign ignorance and assertion of faith in their computer" circle jerk most companies pass off as customer service when there is an issue these days that companies go thru where the employee lacks logic and reasoning when it comes to problem solving, we just told him to have the day he deserves and left cause my times to valuable for this crap. Just gonna dispute the charge and let the legal system handle this insanity.
If you are thinking, that was the correct charge so why are you so made you didn't get the $100 discount? This review isn't about the m{ney. It's about the treatment, blame, and gaslighting from the employees when we had a legitimate concern that we wanted to be validated. If he would have given us receipt when we dropped it off, we would have known then. The first guy just had to go inside and print the paper that took less than a minute to do. The second guy just had to show us the charges to prove where that discrepancy came from. Nothing about this experience proved that they know what they are doing beyond the training they received to bring in as much money as they can for the big guys in corporate.

Yarik (which I’m probably misspelling) checked me in super quickly. Offered a free upgrade but I wanted something more fuel efficient and ended up living with a Toyota Corolla. The process was relatively fast and he was really helpful. Out of all the enterprises, this is probably my go-to I never have a bad experience here.
