My circumstances changed and my car came back from the dealership early, so I decided to return the rental after 4 days of renting. The attending showed me what the final charge would be and I didn’t think anything of it. Turns out I should’ve asked for a receipt right then and there and for how many days I was being charged; the attending charged a full week’s worth! I have a timestamp of retuning the car at 4 days, but I was charged for a full week? That’s not right. It makes you wonder how often they’re showing customers “here’s your final price, receipt will post in a few days” when receipts should post within a hour of dropping off the rental. That’s how it works at the airport locations vs. these stand alone shops. I hope they see this and respond accordingly. *Update 2/23 - I did receive a call from this office this morning and they provided a refund. I was now charged only 4 days vs. the full week charge. Thank you, team, for providing customer service and resolving this issue. My review status also changed for this.
