  Joseph Lopez was a breath of fresh air! We had just had the usual bait and switch at a dealership in Corvallis and we were expecting more of the same. He could have not been more helpful and supportive as we looked to buy our son his first car. If you are looking to buy a car ask for Joseph Lopez!!!!

  Thank you so much for helping me get into an upgraded Subie. Joseph you were wonderful to work with, not in a hurry and answered all of my questions. Joseph took the time to get my car and phone connected and showed me how to work this new fancy computer with wheels. I came to Subaru of Albany because my favorite service person Cory had moved from Corvallis to Albany. Great team all around.

  I authorized this dealership to do a 4-wheel alignment on my WRX, nothing more, that is the paperwork that I signed and authorized for that service. I did not authorize a test drive unless it was not disclosed in the paperwork for the quote for the work to be done. I regret not resetting the max boost hit as most test drives in manual cars are done very spirited, also regret not having a dash cam to catch it. I did not authorize looking at a stupid number of parts that I did not want touched by this dealership. 4-wheel alignment that was it, don’t touch the belts, don’t open filters, don’t touch my brakes, don’t open my trunk and look at the spare, don’t touch anything I did not specifically authorize. If they ask me about it, I would have said no just do what I scheduled to have done and nothing more. Their services most likely have a built in well you didn’t pay for this but we are going to charge you more to show you what you didn’t schedule. I will drive to another state to buy or service a vehicle than to have this farce of a dealership do anything, it also most likely will be cheaper. Also proof they don’t actually do the things they claim is the coolant levels were marked good, when there was no coolant in the reservoir. Washer fluid was also "checked" and marked good, last time it was filled was at 1k miles over 4 years ago. That right there proves their checks mean absolutely nothing. It makes me question whether they actually did an alignment or just said they did and take my money and make up numbers on the paper. Purchased the car new from Corvallis and had it serviced once (at 1k miles because it was free and marked the filter to be sure it was actually serviced, to my surprise it was) before they moved to Albany. Lucky for me I work on my own vehicles except when they need specific tools such as for alignment. The waiting room had a bunch of ants crawling on the floor, see picture. I don’t find that a great place to wait as when I found an ant crawling on me, I was not thrilled to then see a bunch on the ground and kept pacing to avoid getting more ants on me, granted I could have gone to the sales side waiting room but really did not want a sales pitch. I know ants aren’t harmful, I just don’t like things crawling on me, no matter where I am. Possibly empty your garbage’s so ants are crawling over everything in the place you tell customers to wait in. When buying my 2020 WRX and attempting my mother’s Forester, Corvallis was the most expensive Subaru dealer in the entirety of Oregon. After providing a number of quotes got my WRX price within a couple hundred dollars to make it not worth going to a different city. Granted still had a number of issues with Corvallis and my WRX, poor intake of new vehicle and removing adhesive to filling with fuel joy ride maxing out boost. Forester price was thousands different making it worth driving 60 miles away. I mention this before Corvallis Subaru moved to and changed name to Albany Subaru, same dealer but now entirely worse service. I would avoid this place like the plague. I also got charged a tax or tax i.d. fee, which we don’t have sales tax in this state why am I getting charged a tax on a service? Sure, it was only 70 cents but why I am getting charged that?
