  Terrible experience with this Sixt branch. First time we had a confirmed reservation, they had no car available, which forced us to reschedule an entire trip. Second time, the car was not ready when we arrived and was dirty inside. Then after I returned it the same night around 11:30 PM, they charged me for two rental days and claimed I returned it Monday morning. I have receipts proving otherwise. Disorganized, frustrating, and not a branch I would trust again.

  Extremely frustrated that they allow you to reserve cars online at 5pm when they close at 5. Had to go to the Sixt location at the airport where they told me I had to wait till 10pm for a car 👎

  I rented a car from Sixt for one day. Picked up Thursday morning, returned Thursday evening. On Monday I received an email demanding $400 for supposed damage. The photos they sent had all metadata scrubbed — no timestamps, no way to verify when the images were taken. I asked Sixt point blank: when were these photos taken? Silence. They handed the file to a recovery agency. I asked the agency the same question. Their answer: they didn’t have that information. Not once, across multiple exchanges with both Sixt and their agency, did anyone produce a shred of evidence that this damage happened while the car was in my possession. Instead of answering a simple question, they threatened collections. I paid the $400 to avoid credit damage — under protest, with no admission of fault. Sixt’s process here is simple: make a claim, strip the evidence of any verifiable detail, ignore challenges, and escalate pressure until the customer pays. I’d call this a billing dispute. Others might call it something else. If you rent from Sixt, take detailed timestamped photos and video of every surface of the vehicle at pickup and return. Based on my experience, you will need them.

  They will not let you pick up the car with a US drivers license only, you need another US ID so if you’re Canadian living in the US without another US government issued ID, you can’t rent from them and they refused to even try contacting corporate to clarify. Weird policy out of line with pretty much rest of the industry, making the product unusable.

  Reservé el carro de forma online con algunas dudas ya que el precio de los vehículos es considerablemente más bajo que en las demás agencias y pese a algunos comentarios aquí, decidí arriesgarme. Desde el principio José, nuestro host se mostró amable y dispuesto a ayudarnos a pesar de la barrera del idioma, fue extremadamente amable y cuidadoso de hacernos entender cada cosa dentro del contrato. Nos ofrecieron un carro de una categoría mejor debido a que no tenían existencia del que nosotros reservamos en ese momento, y el up grade fue sin costo. El carro era estupendo, olía a nuevo aún y tanto estética como mecánica estaban impecables, además que fue un carro muy seguro para nuestro road trip! Los chicos de entrega y recepción son muy amables también! Quedamos muy satisfechos con la agencia, lo único que es un poco difícil es la devolución del carro ya que el GPS falla en la zona en la que se encuentra el estacionamiento y genera un poco de dolores de cabeza, pero en cuanto a la empresa, no tengo ninguna queja! Fueron claros y éticos en el trato! José, si lees esto, un saludo a tu esposa y muchas gracias por todo tu apoyo! 🙏🏻❤️
