  The staff was polite and they addressed the other issues with the car as well other than the oil change. I also got a couple of replacements done all for a fair price :)

  Great, fast and efficient service! I went in for a synthetic oil change today and the staff was very helpful throughout the process. They inspected my entire car, cleaned the windows, refilled all the fluids, changed the air filter and also filled the tire pressure as complimentary service. They are great at providing discounts as well! In addition they also provide a sheet with all inspections done and a sticker for your windshield that indicates when you should be coming back for the next oil change. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for your great service 👍

  They put oil in my coolant reservoir I’m honestly shocked I still have a working car after my last visit here. ​I came in on Oct 22, 2025, for my second oil change at this location. I liked the "walk-in, no-hassle" vibe and left thinking my car was in good hands. Boy, was I wrong. ​Fast forward 4 months of heavy daily commuting (60km round trips from Scarborough to Vaughan) through some brutal winter weather. I took my car back to my regular dealer for its next service, and they dropped a bombshell: They found oil in my coolant reservoir. For anyone who doesn't know, that usually means a blown head gasket and a total loss of the car. My heart absolutely sank. But the dealer suspected it wasn't a mechanical failure—with the amount of oil and years of my car, it looked like straight-up human error. ​I didn't want to blame the wrong person, so I did a "test drive" week to be 100% sure. The dealer flushed my coolant, and I drove my usual 60km highway commute for 7 days. I went back today, and guess what? The coolant is perfectly clean and blue. This proves it wasn't an internal leak; it was someone at Great Canadian Oil Change literally pouring oil into my coolant tank. How does a place with "Oil Change" in the name make such a rookie mistake? ​What’s even worse is that they clearly realized they messed up, said absolutely nothing, and just waved me goodbye—knowing they might have just destroyed my engine. There is zero integrity here. They’d rather let a customer’s car die than admit to a mistake. I’m lucky my dealer caught it in time and I'll never be back. ​P.S. For those wondering how I drove for 4 months like this: I asked my mechanic if it was even possible to run a car with oil topped up in the coolant. He confirmed it is, because oil sits at the top and might not immediately enter the narrow passages of the cooling system. If it had been an internal engine leak, my engine would have been dead a long time ago.
