  Unacceptable and dishonest business practices. I have traveled everywhere in Canada and abroad, and every time I rent a car, I ask to inspect the car before signing the damage report. The service agent REFUSED to let me inspect the car first, and REQUIRED my to sign the damage report, or she would not release the pre-paid car to me. Even though I could see the car from the rental office, walk there, inspect it, and walk back, she said I MUST sign off the damage of the car UNSEEN. She would not give the damage inspection report to me and let me walk over there and come back. She flat out refused to release the car if I did not accept the damage report without inspecting the car. She refused to let me walk over to the car, inspect it, and come back. She explained this is company policy, and she REFUSED to release the prepaid car to me under any other circumstances. In my 40 years of travel, this is the only time a car rental agency REFUSED to let me inspect the car, but still held me liable for all damage on the car that was not in the inspection report. I would have gone elsewhere, but I had pre-paid the car to reduce my vacation costs. It begs the question - what other dishonest practices does this establishment practice? Avoid, avoid, avoid.
