I had some issues with my vehicle that were no one’s fault, and Brian Landry (Assistant Branch Rental Manager) went above and beyond to help. On a trip where so many things went wrong, I’ll forever be grateful for the one company and particularly the one person that made it bearable. I hope you see this Brian. Thanks.

The car was registered in Quebec where winter tires are mandatary by law from December 1st to March 15th. Initially I was suggested with the car on all season tires but when I asked for the car with winter tires I was charged like for extra option. My assumption is that what is required by law couldn't be an extra option.

Firstly, there's Alamo/National at the same location- they will rent you a car with National if the rate is higher than what you could book yourself through Alamo (they never spin-around the iPad or hand you any paperwork, you just find out that it's National after they hand you the receipt. They under-estimate the prices by like 30% by telling you it's "$x per day" before taxes and their added fees. Again, you would get better service scrolling the phone in front of them than speaking to them. And even after the Alamo-National mixup, they don't do the Emerald Club 10% discount (which, again, is there if you check the website). I've never had anything like this from my hometown National or even other airport ones. Really tiresome. EDIT: Knocking 1 off for the company response (just "go to the website" which has no online option, just 1-800 numbers. The people on the 1-800 number can't/don't do anything).
