I was planning to rent a Dodge Durango as a family car for five and wanted to test drive it first to see how it felt and how spacious it was. After reserving the Durango, I was told it wasn’t available and that I would be given an Infiniti QX60 instead. It wasn’t my first choice, but I needed an SUV for travel and had a lot of luggage to bring.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I asked Omar if there was any way to get a Durango instead. Even though it was last minute and availability was limited, Omar went out of his way to make it happen. He arranged for a driver to go to another location, pick up the Durango, and have it ready within just four hours.
Looking back, there’s no way the Infiniti QX60 would have comfortably fit all our family members and our luggage, but the Durango handled it perfectly 🤙🏽
Moral of the story: Omar is the guy who makes things happen. Outstanding service.

I want to share my full experience with the Enterprise location on Prince of Wales.
When I first went in everything was great. Omar helped me and put me in a Mercedes and there were no issues at all. The service was smooth and professional and I genuinely appreciated it.
After that my insurance company advised that I could not continue driving the Mercedes so I had to swap vehicles. I was then given a Jetta. The remote would not work properly and I could not unlock the doors with it. It was already frustrating but I stayed patient. I was later approved for a mini SUV and instead I was given a Ford Bronco.
The very next day I called to explain that there were six to seven warning lights on the dashboard. I was told they would reserve a vehicle for me the next day. When I called the following day they said they tried calling me in the morning and because I did not answer they gave the vehicle away and now had nothing available. I explained clearly that the vehicle felt unsafe and that I should be treated as a priority regardless of whether I answered a morning call. People have work and responsibilities and cannot always answer immediately.
The day after that I called again and Omar told me once more that there was no vehicle available. That conversation turned into a heated altercation because I felt like my safety concerns were not being taken seriously at all. I explained that my sister has been admitted to the hospital and I do not even have a safe vehicle to transport my family during an already stressful time. I told him to make sure the manager contacts me. I also told him that I had spoken with Enterprise headquarters and was advised that a regional manager should be reaching out. He told me that headquarters was the USA side and that it did not matter. I responded that it absolutely does matter because they still represent the same company and I deserve a resolution. No regional manager ever contacted me.
Today I called again and spoke with the manager Alexis. I was told there was nothing available and that I would have to wait until Friday. I asked what happens if the other location has nothing either and was basically told I would have to stay in my current vehicle. I explained again that there are multiple dashboard warning lights and ongoing issues and was told there is nothing they can do.
What makes this even more frustrating is that when I called the Barrhaven location they were surprised by the situation and said they would contact Prince of Wales directly. When I called the Merivale location Colin explained that there is roadside assistance and that they could tow the vehicle and place me in another one immediately. I do not understand why this information was never properly communicated to me by the Prince of Wales team.
I have been driving this unsafe vehicle for two weeks with multiple dashboard warning lights and no proper resolution. The lack of communication accountability and urgency especially when safety is involved is extremely disappointing. I do not understand how this situation was handled this poorly and why no regional manager ever followed up with me.
I hope this location improves its communication and takes safety concerns far more seriously in the future.
