Most frustrating rental experience I’ve had.
Halfway through my rental, the key fob battery died. I went back to the branch expecting a quick fix. A company that manages an entire fleet should be able to replace a simple battery.
Instead, the employee, possibly the manager, snapped, “Why would I have batteries? We rent cars.” No apology. No solution. Just attitude. He told me to go to his contracted mechanic down the road and handle it myself.
When I got there, the staff were confused. They said Enterprise employees usually come in themselves for these replacements and they almost never send customers. In fact, they told me this was the first time they had seen a customer sent over like that. I had to wait in line and they had to create an invoice. What should have taken five minutes took 45.
When I returned the car, I asked for a two minute ride to my mechanic. The same employee laughed and said “absolutely not” unless I waited an hour. I reminded him I had already handled their maintenance issue for them. His response was, “Well, we paid for it so you should be happy.”
The arrogance and lack of accountability were unbelievable. Zero customer service. Zero professionalism.
I have rented from Enterprise multiple times. After this, I won’t again.
If you want basic respect and support, rent somewhere else.
Both front end employees need immediate retraining.

Alex and Ray from the speers Enterprise were both great. Alex especially was very accomodating and helped me with the rental process. She's friendly and helpful.
