About 30 minutes later, while we were already on our way, they moved our confirmed reservation to a waitlist. When we called to ask why, we were told that the team handling phone reservations is different from the actual rental location, and that they don’t confirm vehicle availability before forwarding the booking. Apparently, the location was already sold out, meaning our “reservation” was never real to begin with. This process is incredibly misleading and unprofessional. If you can’t guarantee vehicle availability, don’t confirm a reservation. We lost time and had to scramble to make alternate arrangements. Definitely would not recommend.
