I dropped my senior father off with a confirmed car rental, on a Friday afternoon (he thought he was on his own after that). 45 minutes later, I drive past my father walking down the road in a snowstorm. I go back to Enterprise. There are three staff members there. They tell me my father did confirm his reservation, but they made a mistake, and were not able to reach out let him know. They just sent him out in the cold. Meanwhile, the staff at Hertz, down the road, were LITERALLY calling their friends to see who could drive my Dad home (to Powassan), and researching cab prices, even though they had no cars for him and would make no money off of him. I asked the staff at Enterprise if they felt that they were treating my father well, and they said they thought they were being very fair. All three of them, including the manager, just standing around with nothing to do. This is not the first time I've dropped someone off with a confirmed reservation, only to have them kicked out onto the street. Additionally, this is the same rental agency that rented me a van, in the middle of February, with summer tires. I cannot say enough uncomplimentary things about this place!
