- PSPaul SNov 10, 20251.0One of the most poorly run National's I've ever been to. Pick up was a nightmare. Confusing directions and "Emerald Aisle" was a joke. "pick anything you want" is actually "pick something you can get to because the cars are parked in lines making access impossible. Had one staff member yell at me because I went to a non emerald aisle car - the directions and signage was not clear at all. As a long term customer, I don't appreciate being yelled at by some angry representative especially when I've been travelling for 12 hours. Drop off was only marginally better. National has not correctly set up the directions to the return on Google Maps so that selecting "Term 1" takes you to "Term 3" and then you have to transit the airport. The car was ok, but National has competitors and your "service" this time, at this location was terrible.

The gentle man said they do have cars available in that class but since I was walking in, it will be great if I can go to National next to them as they get bonus when customers book with them. So left the line and went to National where I stood in the line again. There were 2 gentlemen working behind the counter. One was helping another customer and the other was sitting in the back. He looked at me and came to the front. BEFORE me asking anything he said “I don’t have any cars available” FYI I am an emerald member with National and also a member with enterprise for more than 10 years and I know that they both share the same cars. It is not possible that one would have cars, and the other wouldn’t. If you don’t want to serve customers, then just close the counter. I went back to enterprise they gave me the car I wanted. I also saw a bunch of other customers walking to National and getting their cars in front of me. Not sure why that gentleman treated me like that.

There were no hidden fees and we paid exactly what we planned. We totally recommend this agent in comparison to other brands.
