    Great efficient and speedy pickup - the rental was exactly what we reserved - the rental was waiting for us smartly presented and easy pickup - amazing 3 hours after touching down in Toronto Person ✈️ we were with our grandchildren who live with our Daughter 60 km’s East down the 401 freeway - we are returning again just before Christmas I know am sure Enterprise will repeat the rental experience - really great team at Toronto Person Airport T3 - well done Team Enterprise - thanks so much - Mr T Gilbert (UK)

    I checked in before arrival at 11 am today, the vehicle I had booked was not ready and I had to wait for it to arrive. That’s not what annoyed me though, what annoyed me was being asked by three separate employees if “ I really needed a truck?”. My company had booked it for a mine site trip, so I needed the truck and I drive trucks regularly for work. It felt really condescending, two of the employees asked for my name, would check their computer or tablet then look at me and ask “ if I really needed a truck?” I don’t think I should have to explain my reasoning for that. After the truck finally arrived the employee showing me it had asked if I just had a lot of stuff and that’s why I needed it. I explained again I needed it for work purposes. There’s a reason we book specific vehicles, so they should have it ready for our arrival. My coworker has just arrived at 4:30pm and is now also waiting for them to get a truck in as they “don’t have one at the moment” even though we have reserved them weeks prior.

    We reserved a truck specifically because we planned to be driving at night on a highway northbound where encounters with large animals can be dangerous. We wanted the extra protection and durability that a truck provides. However, when we arrived to pick up the vehicle, we were told that no trucks were available. Instead of offering comparable vehicles, Enterprise staff pushed us toward small cars and small SUVs, refusing to rent us anything larger or more suitable for our needs. This was disappointing and far from ideal, especially given the safety concerns we expressed. It felt like our request was not taken seriously, and the lack of suitable options left us feeling unsupported. We hope Enterprise improves vehicle availability and customer service for safety-conscious renters.

    It is difficult to remember all of the things that went wrong with my rental from this location. Firstly, there was an incredibly long wait for the car (apparently with National you can just walk out to get your car so I will be going with them next time!) While we were checking in, the lady at the counter helping us stopped to berate one of her coworkers, demanding to know what she was doing and why it took so long. This was incredibly unprofessional behaviour in front of a customer. Then, I asked for my husband to be added as an additional driver and she took his license, but apparently during the commotion of yelling at her coworker she forgot to add him, so I had to go to another location later to add him. Then the car- I realized after we left that the gas tank wasn’t full, despite being told it would be, so I had to pay for extra gas that I didn’t use. Additionally, after being informed that they had checked the tires for leaks because they had a few cars with flats, we were given a car with a slow leak in the front right tire. We also had to sort this out at another location, which proved to be more difficult than it needed to be, as they argued with us over the tire, telling us that it was the weather that caused this one tire to become flat (and notably not the other tires). After switching out the car, they then forgot to write down the license plate number and had to call us hours later in a panic to get it, and lastly they accidentally amended my reservation so that we were now supposed to return the car much earlier than initially intended. All in all, every aspect of my rental with enterprise went wrong and I will never be renting from them again. I would advise to try another rental company!

    I have never come across such rude and unhelpful staff as the ones in the Pearson Airport Office in Toronto. There was an issue with the credit card (even though it was authorised the day before when I checked in for the car hire) to which I was trying to sort, any question I asked about alternative options or ways of sorting the problem, I was met with rude, one worded grunt like replies, or argumentative attitude towards my questions. After an hour I managed to sort the card issue, to which I was finally then led out to my car. When I got to the car, it was the vehicle I had originally booked, however, upon check in the day before, I paid 180$ for an upgrade. When questioned with the staff, I was argued with that they had it correct so the staff member went back inside and left us to it. Luckily for me, I screenshot everything I book online and had all the screen shots from the upgrade booking, so I went back into the office to either receive my upgrade, or have the 180$ charge refunded. At first they told me I was wrong, again, told me my screenshots weren’t real, then they said they had no ‘full size SUV’s’ in stock anyways so I couldn’t have one regardless, but then miraculously after arguing for another 10 minutes, they finally combined a few brain cells between them and checked the computer, and realised I was correct the whole time, and guess what? Another miracle, they all of sudden had a ‘full size SUV’ ready to go! During all of this I had my 8 month pregnant wife, my 1 year old baby and my 7 year old sat and sleeping on suit cases in the car park for over an hour, and not one single care was given, or even any acknowledgment made. Not to mention the car was dirty, and full of yellow pen marks from what I presume is circling damage from a previous hire, not exactly pretty for a 1000$ a week hire car… I run a digger hire company and I wouldn’t even hire out a digger in the state the car was in. Overall just an embarrassingly poor performance, and would not go back to this branch.
