  Seamless experience. No hidden fees. They were accommodating when my credit card was having issues and gladly took another one to put on file. Overall, super friendly and great service. The car was clean and fresh when we got it off the lot so that was really nice to see. We will definitely be renting with them again when we're back in the GTA.

  I have to leave a very negative review mainly because of the rudeness of the check in guy and the unexpected 400 CAD deposit even with paid full insurance coverage. The car is fine. But the check in process was very unpleasant with the wrong attitude, didn’t want to answer or explain anything. Wrong person for the job.

  The unfriendly check in guy charged me 400 CAD at pick up even though there’s no mentioning of a deposit at reservation and I also paid for full insurance coverage. The guy was rude, unfriendly, didn’t want to answer or explain anything, and acted like he didn’t want to do the job. In current situation of job lacking, he should be grateful to have any job with that attitude. The check in process was very unpleasant.

  Alamo charged me a “fuel service fee” which I did not agree to upon rental. I contacted customer service twice to see what the charge was and was told it was a hold in case I did not return the car at full. When I returned the car filled with gas, they did not refund the “fuel service fee” or even check to see if the car had any fuel. Avoid Alamo at all costs, they will waste your time and take your money

  Rented from Alamo Apr. 1-3/26 with pick-up at Pearson Int'l airport in Toronto arriving just before midnight. Pick-up was easy, we used the online skip the counter option. Vehicle was ready with the key in it, we were out of the airport and on our way very quickly. Returning the vehicle at the same airport was quick and easy. Only thing that wasn't perfect for me was the fuel level in the vehicle, I've attached a pic when we picked the vehicle up, we definitely returned it with more fuel than we took it with. Definitely not a deal breaker in the whole process. Also the vehicle we received to rent was a Nissan Rogue...absolutely hate the gear shifter so I'd never buy one just on that feature alone.😂
