Fountain Tire in Milton, a leading tire dealer offering auto repair services and Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly tires for cars, trucks, Atv's, trailers, farm equipment and fleets.
I had a great experience with Fountain Tire. The team was extremely professional, patient, and thorough in walking me through the different tire options and helping me understand what would work best for my vehicle and driving needs.
I did end up spending a bit more than I originally planned, but it was absolutely worth it. The level of knowledge and customer service really stood out. You can tell they genuinely care about getting you the right solution rather than just making a sale.
Kyle and Shawn were amazing to deal with. Very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing anything.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for honest advice and top-notch service.

I had a great experience with the team at Fountain Tire in Milton! Kyle, Shawn, and the crew got me scheduled in quickly and took care of everything without any hassle. I picked up a new set of Continental snow tires at a really great price, and they handled the swap and storage of my summer tires. What stood out most was how honest and straightforward they were. There was no pressure, just clear and unbiased advice.
They also provided a full 20-point vehicle condition report before I picked up my car, which went above and beyond and I really appreciated. It gave me a clear picture of what’s in good shape and what I might need to think about down the road.
Overall, the service was efficient, professional, and trustworthy. These guys know what they’re doing and they do it right. Highly recommend! :)

I was a loyal customer for the past few years, and today they (specifically the owner, Kyle) turned a very simple, solvable issue into a mountain of speaking to me condescending and insulting my spouse. My jaw was dropped at the complete unwarranted lack of respect. All over a missing, replaceable, lug nut key. Absolutely bananas. Tire places are a dime a dozen, this is a relationship based business… you would think you’d know that by now. What a teachable moment.

I recently had new tires installed on my BMW at Fountain Tire and had a great experience! Klye and Shawn was extremely helpful, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. A special shoutout to Kyle, who went above and beyond to match the price and make sure I got the best deal possible. The service was quick, smooth, and stress-free. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for honest and friendly service!
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
