- SSShayan Shojaei3 days ago1.0Absolutely unacceptable experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was charged $956.27 on my credit card without any prior invoice, notification, or authorization. The pre-authorization at pickup was only $100, yet Enterprise billed almost 10× that amount without my consent. Worse, the invoice was emailed after the charge was processed, and the email address provided on the invoice to dispute the charge does not work. Every reply bounced. There was no way to contact anyone to question or dispute the amount before they took the money. When I finally reached someone, Enterprise admitted on the call that: • The charge was processed automatically by their system • They did not obtain my consent • They had no functional email for dispute resolution • They could not reverse the charge, even when I immediately requested it • I was expected to pay for an outstanding balance 10× higher than the authorization I signed for This is not just poor service — it is a serious consumer-rights issue. Charging a customer nearly $1,000 without consent or a proper invoice is unacceptable for any company, let alone one of this size. I am now pursuing this through my bank, Consumer Protection Ontario, and other regulatory avenues. Posting this review so others are warned and can avoid the same experience.
