Professional shop. Have been here twice, once for tires, once for a mechanical issue. Great customer service, thorough diagnosis and found my issue, explained how much each step cost in labour and gave me total. What more can you ask for. Also have a well lit parking lot and a monitored key drop. Thanks

We’ve been customers since we moved to London in 2001 and could not be more pleased with the shop’s professionalism, quality of work and courtesy. Pricing is very fair and they stand behind their work. It’s wonderful that car maintenance be one aspect of our lives that truly do not have to worry about because this team has it covered. 100% work the drive from North London. (They now have shuttle service as well.)

Extremely disappointed with the service at fountain tire. I would not recommend this auto body shop to any self respecting person in London. I recently went in to get a safety check on my car as I am buying out my lease and it is a mandatory procedure. I decided to go to Fountain Tire and was told that my brakes were too worn to pass the safety check. This was surprising to me as I just recently got my brakes checked during routine maintenance. I inquired about this since the brake sensor was not going off. I was told that the brakes and the brake sensor were worn/needed to be replaced since it was faulty. I was then quoted a total of $950 for this repair and told they needed to be immediately replaced and that he couldn’t pass the safety inspection because of this. I was a little bit suspicious so I took it to another auto body shop where they informed me my brakes were perfectly fine and the sensor was in working order. So I went back to Fountain Tire and told them I got a second opinion and they continued to lie to my face saying, “This is how I make my living.” To see this kind of blatant dishonesty and intent to capitalize on a university student in need was appalling. There are many better auto body shops in London I would only go here if it was a last resort. I had a hard time believing this kind of behaviour existed in the auto body industry until today. I recommend another other option if it’s available to you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
