  While my car was being repaired I had a rental. I work in Hyde Park where there is an Enterprise office (literally 2 minutes from my office). I needed a ride to Car Star East, they refused to pick me. Based on my residental address they told me to attend at the Horton and Wellington office. When I called to book my rental reservation, no staff advised me of the difference in required deposit. I had to pay a $300.00 deposit. I had to renturn my rental at Dundas and Second Streets. Since my deposit was paid at the Horton location, they were unable to provide my debit refund. I had to drive back to the Horton location to get my refund, then back to Dundas and Second to get a drive to Car Star East. As well, I was not provided a rental that is comparable to my vehicle and hato accept a smaller car without snow tires. Zach, the manager said he would source a car with snows. Surpise, Zach never obtained the appropriate rental, nor did he call to advise ge could not get a rental with snow tires. Today I had another rental because Car Star put damaged parts on my car which I discovered. This time I had to get my rental at Dundas ans Veterans. Surprise, I had to pay a $100.00. Wasn't a deposit $300.00 and when I asked them to clarify the difference, they could not explain? I received a call from Enterprise, each office can charge a different deposit. It was explained to me that because the accident rate at the Horton location is high and that's why the higher deposit amount. Avoid the Horton office at all costs, save your money and deal with a different office.

  I took back my rental today. Everyone was so professional and kind. I had great experience and a few laughs.. great people.

  Safety alert to all individuals renting a vehicle from Enterprise! I recently booked a one-way rental to Thunder Bay and found out the hard way the car rental had no winter tires. I also had a defrost system that did not work properly; and no windshield water fluid. I ran into some inclement weather and it was terrifying. It took the Manager 6 days to return my multiple calls. He indicated that on online bookings, you need to specifically request that you a want winter tires (in the middle of winter!). I told him this booking was done over the phone and at no time did an agent ask me if I wanted winter tires. The Manager told me I should have asked for them. This is a ridiculous policy that needs to change. Enterprise, you need to put your client’s safety as a priority. I was in a crisis in the middle of the North and no one helped me.
