  Could not get a real suv with a frame, but insurance said they would have one. Made a reservation in owensound because they said they would have an equivalent vehicle this was their central office that told me. Called owensound and they said they didnt. Tried calling 3 different locations none did. Rented mini van instead. Van has no winter tires and doesn't feel safe in the snow and got it stuck in a driveway that had packed snow. Only used this company because of insurance. So customer service told me they had a van for me to rent at the listowel location but they didnt and the person that was there wasn't the person I talked to when I called the listowel location phone number. I felt deceived by this company. Happened to get a van because someone wanted to swap vehicles when I was there and had a van otherwise would've wasted an hour trip. So word of caution ask the person on the phone if they are seated at the location you are calling and to be specific about what they are going to rent you.

  Rented a vehicle through my insurance company, because of an accident, with the Listowel office. Rental was paid by insurance company however when I picked up the vehicle I had to put a $100 deposit. They advised I would get the deposit returned when I brought the vehicle back. I brought the vehicle back however they said they couldn't return my deposit until the insurance company paid for the rental. Once that was done I would get my money back. I called my insurance company and they paid the bill. Enterprise sent me an email stating the outstanding invoice was paid however they haven't returned my deposit. All communication attempts were futile. Just another scam. Lesson learned as I am out my $100 deposit.

  I would NEVER recommend enterprise Listowel/Stratford to anyone for the following reasons; • You try to call Listowel Enterprise using the number online and can only reach Stratford re: Listowel is just a pick up place at a CSN collision centre • they cannot guarantee a vehicle will be available to you, even on the pick up date and will not notify you. I was supposed to get my rental on Wednesday and when I called to confirm they said they don’t have one, I will have to get it Thursday. Then when I called on Thursday they said they had to wait and see to make sure enough vehicles were returned before they could confirm they had one for me. • I reserved a compact SUV and they only had a minivan available – these aren’t even the same price for a rental – the minivan is more money • they do not offer pick up services although their website says they do • I asked for winter tires and multi people told me I would get winter tires, my quote included an additional $560 fee for winter tires but when I called to confirm my rental for the second time they said none of their vehicles have winter tires they re: they are not legally made to provide them. But they were going to charge me for them… • it is clear that they are all aware they give people the run around because as you question them about the things that are going wrong they get increasingly irritated and rude I have rented from a small business in my own town, I called them and had a rental the same day – a compact SUV with winter tires they were kind and lovely to deal with. Support local, call around to your local car dealerships, collision centers and mechanics to see if they do rentals and work with your insurance company to support local. Enterprise doesn’t care about you or what you are going through when you have been in an accident.

  Great experience with a disability they installed hand controls so I could still drive as I'm an amputee with hand controls in my personal vehicle
