- AAAws AmroAug 7, 20252.0On Saturday, August 2nd, I booked a van for pickup on Tuesday, August 5th, as I was taking my family to the airport and needed the space for luggage. The reservation (for $186.81) was confirmed, but when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was told there were no vans available. This left me in a difficult situation with limited time. I had to drive to a different Enterprise location 30 minutes away to rent a 3/4 ton truck—clearly not what I intended. Due to the last-minute nature of the situation, there were no smaller vehicles available. Not only did this result in a much higher rental cost ($359.32), but I also had to pay $100 for diesel fuel, and was later charged an unexpected $78.50 for extra mileage. No one informed me of a mileage limit at the time of booking, and in over a decade of renting from Enterprise (since 2012), I have never been charged extra for mileage. This was both surprising and disappointing. This experience fell far short of the customer service I’ve come to expect from Enterprise. I had a confirmed booking and ended up paying almost double, while receiving an unsuitable vehicle and facing extra costs—through no fault of my own. Do you think this is great customer service? I don't think so.
