My personal insurance covers rentals but enterprise wanted to charge me $400 for their insurance regardless. I signed what I thought was the rental lease but ended up signing for their insurance. My insurance company and myself explained it meant I was double paying for insurance and that I was under the impression all rental related expenses were covered by my insurance. They did not explain I would incur additional charges not covered by insurance. While some blame can be put on me for ignorance, enterprise seriously lacked proper explanation on how rentals work when handled by an insurance company.
