- PWPreston WatsonFeb 25, 20261.0Rented a Porsche Macan through insurance while my Corvette was being repaired from a not-at-fault accident. The tilt steering didn't work, but the Porsche was the best vehicle they had so I just dealt with it. When I bring it back, I tell them so they can look at it before renting it out to somebody else. Later on, I get a bill for $4,000 telling me to pay it or they will report it to the credit bureau - even though I have perfect credit. I demanded to see all of the paperwork they have on this so I can fight this matter. Ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to hire a litigation lawyer to fight this in court. Avoid these crooks. Being an honest person with these folks will just bring you an unnecessary headache.
