Had a wheel come off our vehicle 15 minute from Dryden on a Saturday afternoon and had it towed to Fountain tire by six pm. I had talked to a worker and told him we were from Manitoba and needed it fixed as soon as possible. He said they would not be able to take a look at it until Monday afternoon at 3pm. I called at 3:15pm to get an update they could not give me one yet. I asked to be kept informed. I phoned back at 4:50pm and was told it needed a lot of work and they would put me on the list for Wed. at 1pm. I once again explained our situation and that I would be willing to pay for any overtime costs to get it done. NOT interested even though it would mean we would be stuck in a hotel for 5 day in a town we knew nothing of and not transport. To rent a car for 2 days was $500.00. I poned at 3:30pm on Wed. and they had just pulled it in at 3pm. I was told it would not be fixed until the next day. I asked that the Boss/Owner give me a call back with an update as to why so long. NO CALL. I called Thurs. morning a 9am and was told it just came off the hoist and was outside (Icalled them they did not call me). They said they could not find a rim to the replace the damaged on so they were ready to send us on our way on the TEMPORARY spare. They had three days to get one. I had another rim put on 1.5 hr later. I can not give this Fountain Tire any stars but I have to so it will be posted. My Fountain tire in Portage la Prairie I give them a 5 star rating

I can highly recommend this company and promise that you will not be disapointed. Due to the wonderful game of chance, I blew a tire on the Trans-Canada Highway. Every company I called basically told me I was SOL. Fountain Tire was the only one who gave a damn and had any interest in helping. Keep in mind, i was well over an hour away and they still came without a second thought about it. Massive shout out to James the service guy that came to our aid. He was extremely friendly and kind, super efficient at his job and had us back up and running in less than 30 mins. Keep up the good work Fountain Tire and Thank you for the exceptional services you offer ❤️

Engine splash shield came loose while driving on highway one on a late Saturday afternoon. Shout out to the desk attendant (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name). He was so accommodating and friendly. He was able to do a quick fix and get me on my way. Refreshing to see that kindness still exists. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
