- DBD BerrApr 19, 20231.0Came in first time and used my American Express card. Was not told at all that they didn’t accept it even though the sale went thru fine and I left. Went in again recently and was told by someone else (very rudely) that they didn’t accept it. He actually got angry at me like it was my fault. Absolutely ridiculous how I was spoken to. I finished the sale and walked out. I will never be coming back. Instead of paying Amex fees which is what they’re worried about, you’ve just completely lost my business. Now you get no money from me, instead you wanna save Amex fees cause you’re greedy. Looks like I’ll be doing all my business with Part Source because they do in fact accept American Express. How would I know that you didn’t accept it? Next time speak to your customer in a respectful way and tell them politely that you don’t accept it and then I would’ve came back and used my Visa or MC. Instead you get nothing more from me in the future. I can’t believe the way he spoke to me. That’s my main issue with all this. I make over 250k a year and spend a lot of money. Your loss. Lastly, I have a great idea that should’ve taken management 5 secs to think of: put a sign on the counter that says WE DONT ACCEPT AMEX!
