    The physical rental location is not the problem here — the company’s communication system is. There is no direct phone line to the location I rented from. Every attempt to get help requires calling a centralized hotline, and each time I was routed to the wrong location. I’ve been calling for days trying to exchange my current rental because the driver’s door handle does not work, requiring me to reach across from the passenger side just to open the door. This is not only frustrating, it’s a basic safety issue. Because of the broken phone system, I still haven’t been able to reach the correct location to resolve this. A customer should not have to fight this hard to fix an unsafe vehicle. Until customers can directly contact the location they rented from, I can’t recommend this company.

    I am writing because I am extremely frustrated and honestly saddened by the way I was treated today. I was at your location around 1:00 p.m. because I had left my side bag in the rental car. When I called ahead, the south-Asian (chubbier/bigger) representative I spoke to was very rude and repeatedly told me that the car was completely covered in snow and could not be checked. This was said even after I explained that my health card was inside the bag and that I had a doctor’s appointment. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was a snow day, even though something about the explanation did not feel right. However, when I arrived at the location and asked again, he repeated the same claim. At that point, it was clear that it was not true. The car was right there and was not blocked by snow. It felt like they simply did not want to make the effort to check. What hurt the most was the complete lack of empathy. Even after clearly explaining that this was a medical issue and that I urgently needed my health card, I was met with indifference, sarcasm, and continued rudeness. When I calmly expressed how disappointed I was about being lied to, his attitude only got worse. As I was leaving, he then decided to complain about me to the other people there, which felt humiliating and completely unnecessary, especially given the situation. This experience left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. It is incredibly sad that even in situations involving health and basic human consideration, empathy can be completely absent. This is not how anyone should be treated.
