  Fast service with a knowledgeable staff. I was stuck after a small repair had gone bad. So I called them up and they knew exactly the part I needed and it was in stock.

  Very friendly staff! Came here to get a can of spray paint matched to my civics paint and it came out perfect and glossy. Staff was very knowledgeable about the install I was doing on my car and gave tips on how to make sure it went smooth. Would definitely recommend going here for your cars needs

  When I checked this nice store reviews I can read and see 5 starts reviews about 5 to 7 years ago. Something gone wrong. In my recent visit my experience was really bad. Very rude customer service. Never ever come back to this place. I asked for one 8 dollars light bulbs exchange choosen for the seller according to the information I provided from a vehicle owned by my son during 13 years. I was able to pay again if it was necessary. I was polite, nice. No questioning anybody I considere was treated in the way Noone deserves. The answer was, go outside and fight to those big guys if you want to fight. Anyway they solved the problem in the way should be from the beginning. Reading the store owner declaration on Google reviews I can see this is a big company across Canada and US where 8 dollars shouldn't be the center of the problem.   Rude, unhelpful and dismissive staff I am a young apprentice and went into Carquest this morning (Saturday, Sept 6th, around 11 AM) to purchase a 12mm socket. I’ve shopped here a couple of times before without any issues, but this visit was disappointing. Since most of my sockets are hex, I was a little confused about star sockets and asked the front desk employee (older Caucasian male, short and heavyset) if it would fit a 12mm hex bolt. Instead of a simple explanation, he responded with attitude: “You can read what it says on the label.” When I clarified my question, he dismissively told me that “12 mm is the distance from one side of the head to the other side”—without actually answering my concern. I bought the socket anyway, tested it outside, and confirmed it worked. When I returned to ask for his name, he refused, saying “I don’t have to tell you my name.” I told him this was not good customer service, and instead of acknowledging it, he became more ignorant and said, “I know exactly what I am doing, you can return your tool and get your money back.” My question to Carquest is: Is this really how you train employees to treat customers? When someone asks a genuine question, shouldn’t they receive guidance rather than attitude? And if a customer is dissatisfied, shouldn’t the goal be to resolve the issue—not brush it off and suggest a return? As an apprentice, I look to professionals for help and guidance. Unfortunately, this experience showed me the opposite.
