  Beware about this place; I had a terrible experience with Assured Automotive Ajax location. A long story short, my car was hit by someone while at a stop sign. I contacted my insurance company, and they said I was not at fault and did not need to pay anything, including my deductible. I didn't have time to find a body shop since this was my first claim and requested my insurance company to suggest one. They suggested this place. I went in, showed them the damage (see the photos) which were rear bumper and exhaust. They provided an estimate, and my insurance company sent me an email confirmation that they would be fixing everything, indicating the amount! Couple of days later, they called me and said my car was ready to pick up and that I had to pay $400+ for a betterment fee. I was shocked and asked what this was and who approved these charges since neither the insurance company nor Assured Ajax had mentioned this. They said they had a confirmation from the insurance company but could not share it with me. Fine, I called multiple times back and forth and eventually resolved the betterment issue. Finally, I picked up the car and noticed a weird sound from the exhaust, which they had replaced and charged additionally for a betterment fee. :( I reached out to them in person and showed them the issue. They said they had replaced half of the muffler, and the connecting part was broken during the accident, which they didn't fix it (they didn't communicate with me until I reached out to them). They also suggested to call the insurance company for the extra $ for the 'wear and tear'. I am tired of these people and spent 10 valuable days of my time on this issue. I am not going back to any third-party body shop anymore. Please go to your dealer shop for better service. PS: Please see the damage, they charged over 5k for this. What a rip off!

  If you want to waste your time and money, this is the place to go. They don't want to fix anything and everything is 'wear and tear' or 'betterment' for them. Get away from this place.

  Absolutely terrible experience with Assured Ajax. My car was transferred from Assured Leaside, and the work done here was unacceptable and dishonest. The car still pulls to the right, the fender and door are misaligned, and the engine light appeared while in their care — it was never on before. They even tried to have me sign for the car before inspection. When I asked for inspection records or photos showing my car’s condition when they received it, they provided nothing I was told aftermarket parts with warranty would be used, but later discovered they installed used parts without my consent. No transparency, no documentation, and zero accountability. This shop has shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. I would never trust them with any vehicle again. Advice to anyone dealing with this shop: record everything — take photos and videos of your car before handing it over, especially the parts they claim they’ll replace. Make sure you have proof, because based on my experience, I strongly believe they put old or returned parts back. I also filed a complaint with their head office, but after 10 days with no response, I have no trust left. I will now be reporting this case to the Ontario Consumer and Insurance authorities for further investigation.

  Assured Auto repaired a crushed rear bumper for me. Sam provided a detailed estimate and revised as requested. The job was done quickly and with excellent results. Car was detailed thoroughly outside and within. Communication was prompt. Thanks Assured!
