I rent 3-5 cars a month, many from my local (Yukon) location. i made a reservation for a full sized car and even called the day prior to verify they could fill that reservation. I arrived to meet the assistant manager that I spoke with the day prior to verify they could support this reservation. My vehicle was brought out front and it was a compact kia soul. Well below the class of vehicle I had reserved. When I asked why I was being downgraded to a tiny car without a trunk I was informed it was an SUV and they would adjust the price DOWN to my reservation price. I am not stupid and I refuse to be lied to. These vehicles are terrible for highway use and it caused me a great deal of extra work as I had no trunk to store items in. I have since transferred my business to another location. I rented compact cars for a few trips my first years and got a kia Soul and a Hyundai Kona. Both terrible vehicles so i stopped making reservations for that class. A simple apology would have gone a long way but being lied to and treated like I am stupid is unacceptable. Had a great relationship with the previous manager and the young lady that was the interim manager. Both were amazing but customer service has gone downhill with Mr. Moody and the new assistant manger that outright lied to me. I wont be back.
